Dr. N. Sriram is an accomplished ESG, governance, and sustainability professional with over 28 years of leadership experience in risk management, compliance, quality systems, and corporate sustainability. Throughout his career, he has helped organizations strengthen governance frameworks, improve operational excellence, and integrate sustainable business practices.
Prior to founding ESG Consult, Dr. Sriram spent nearly three decades with SGS, the world’s leading testing, inspection, and certification organization. He served as Country Manager and Board Member of SGS Lanka, leading operations across Sri Lanka and the Maldives for over 12 years, while also contributing as a member of the SEAP Regional Operating Committee (ROC).
Dr. Sriram has successfully spearheaded several UN Global Compact (UNGC)-approved ESG initiatives, including sustainability projects with organizations such as Garments without Guilt, Compliance Plus, and the Soccer Ball Project (SGFI, Jalandhar), in collaboration with the Sustainable Compliance Foundation (SCF) and the International Labour Organization (ILO).He served SGS India , New Delhi /Gurugram office for 16 years handling PAN India inspections for Soft, hard goods.
